Why I Built the Blog I Talk To

I had eighteen months of work worth sharing and no time to write any of it down. So I built Buzzy, a way to publish by just having a conversation.

For the last 18 months I've been heads down working with startups. Building features. Shipping tools. Every single day there's something to get done, and then the next thing.

Here's what I never did in all that time: write any of it down.

Not because there was nothing to say. The opposite. I had too much. Full features that became their own business lines. Tools to help salespeople close more deals. Every one of them had a story, a challenge, something other people could learn from. And every one of them stayed in my head, because the one thing I never had was an hour to sit down at a blank page.

That's the trap. The people doing the most interesting work are usually the ones with the least time to talk about it. And sharing the work matters. It's how you build a reputation, how the next opportunity finds you, how you turn a thing you made into a thing people know you made.

So I asked a simple question. Why do I have to sit down and write at all?

The homegrown version

Before Buzzy was a product, it was a hack. I wired up GitHub, Vercel previews, and Astro, and I ran the whole thing from a ChatGPT session. I could prompt visual changes. I could write posts. I could ship the entire blog without ever opening an editor.

The first time it actually worked, it felt like magic. And right after the magic came the obvious thought: other people should be able to do this too.

Why talking beats writing

Here's the part I didn't expect. Talking isn't just faster than writing. It's better.

When you say something out loud, you hear it. You process it. And when there's an AI on the other end pushing back and asking questions, the idea comes out sharper than it ever would have on a blank page. You end up thinking more clearly, not less.

It's just more fun too. That matters more than people admit. The stuff you enjoy doing is the stuff you actually keep doing.

Try it

Buzzy is live, and you can start publishing today just by having a conversation.

A few things you can do right now:

  • Connect it to ChatGPT or Claude and publish straight from a chat.
  • As of today, point your own custom domain at it, so your writing lives on your site.
  • Drop in any link you want. Send people to your other work, a service you offer, or a spot on your calendar to book time with you.

That's it. No blank page. No hour you don't have. Just talk, and hit publish.

If you've been sitting on work worth sharing, this is your nudge. Go have a conversation.
